Toyota Stadium (Formerly FC Dallas Stadium) Information and Schedule

Pizza Hut Park in Dallas

The Pizza Hut Park is a stadium built and owned by the Dallas suburb of Frisco, Texas. Its main tenant is Major League Soccer team FC Dallas. The naming rights were obviously acquired by the large pizza chain, Pizza Hut, whose corporate headquarters are in Dallas.

The stadium, which costs about $80 million, opened on August 6, 2005 with a soccer match between FC Dallas and the MetroStars, which ended in a 2-2 draw. The stadium has exactly 21,193 seats. This is because one end of the stadium doesn't have seats, but instead has a permanent stage for hosting concerts. Like many of the soccer stadiums around the country, it is expected to host mid-sized concerts, as well as various other sporting events.
