Kenny G's given name is Kenneth Gorelick. He's the best sax in the business. Kenny ranks #25 in sales with 48 million albums as of 2006. His "Forever in Love" won the 1994 Best Instrumental Grammy.
Early History Kenny fell in love with the saxophone with an Episode of Ed Sullivan. He learned to play under the direction of a local trumpeter & Grover Washington Jr. records. The local High School wouldn't let him into the jazz program. They are probably still kicking themselves for that decision. He did manage to get in the next year.
