Musical Career Jason Aldean performed in Alabama, Florida, , Georgia and other southeastern seaboard college towns. Jason co-wrote songs with Justin Weaver. In 1998 Jason Aldean was signed with Warner-Chappell at the age of 21and moved to Nashville. After struggling with his recording career in Nashville Jason Aldean finally got a contract with Broken Bow Records. In 2005 Jason Aldean's lead off song "Hicktown" for his self titled album made the Top 10. The album produced his 1st #1 hit "Why" along with a #4 hit "Amarillo Sky". Jason Aldean got a nod for the 2006 Academy of Country Music song and Video of the year. The "Jason Aldean" album sold over 1 million copies.
