The Magnetic Fields are an indie pop group led by Stephin Merritt. They played synthpop in the 80s with Susan Anway providing the vocals. Merritt provides most of the vocals these days with Shirley Simms assisting with about 50% of the vocals on Distortion.
Yaz plays Electropop, dance, new wave & synth pop. Vince Clarke of Depeche Mode and Alison Moyet formed the band in 1981. The band uses the name Yaz in the states but is known as Yazoo in England. They are reunited for the ‘Yazoo Reconnected: Live’ tour.
