Hailing from Pittsburgh, Rusted Root combines bluegrass with a heavy drum beat. Michael Glabicki is the lead vocalist & Liz Berlin does backing vocals along with Colter Harper and Dirk Miller. Most everyone in the band helps with percussions.

History
The Steelers started out as the Pittsburgh Pirates. On their 1st outing the team lost 23-2 in 1933 to the New York Giants. Their claim to fame wasn’t their record through the 30s since they never did better than .500. With that record they never finished better than 2nd place so their real claim to fame was in signing the biggest contract with Byron White. He only played one season before moving on to the Detroit Lions. Byron would go on to become a U.S. Supreme Court justice.
The sports teams of the University of Pittsburgh or “Pitt” are known as the Panthers and have a legendary history in all sports, especially basketball and football.
