Madame Butterfly tickets
The opera Madame Butterfly is based on a short story from 1898 and a novel from 1887. The premier was in 1904 but didn’t do very well. Consequently the long Act 2 was split so that the opera now had 3 acts. The opera was a smash hit and played in 1907′s New York City.
