The U2 360 Tour kicked off in June 2009. The 360 shows feature a 360-degree staging/audience configuration. The stage features a massive “claw” that is the largest concert stage structure to date.
They are one of Rolling Stones 2009 “Artists of the Decade”.
Elton John is touring the world with a few stops scheduled for the USA.
Billboard ranked him the most succesful male solo artist in 2008. He was ranked 3rd overall trailing the Beatles and Madonna.
Carrie Underwood is heading her 2nd tour. The Play On Tour supports her 3rd album, Play On. The 1st tickets sold out in about an hour. Later tickets sold out in less than half an hour.
The 2nd round of shows was announced 4-15-0. Carrie is donating $.36 of each ticket to her favorite charity, Save the Children.
